Bottle-scape

 

            I am fascinated by the hues I can create when refracting and reflecting light. These complexities that I create remind me of how ideas form and perceptions change within the mind. I observe light refracting through glass layers and desire to capture the complex essence that meets my eyes.        

            In my Bottle-scape series, I want to share my dreamlike attraction to light and the complex color relationships that it creates. Zooming in on the bottles creates a glass landscape with dominating, growing structures. These lights passing through the bottles makes them come alive and beckon the eyes to explore further until the viewer drifts into another world if only for a moment.
